The reason we use Teak and NO other wood type is because it is a very Hard Wood, it loves Moisture, the End Grain will Heal itself when you cut on it, and it is non-bacterial- it is mold and mildew resistant. The color variations can be seen in the wood and add a beautiful look to the board. We use only the best high-quality Teak we can get from the Asian regions of the World.
